After the successful B&H swimmer Ensar Hajder improved the national record of B&H with 2,5 seconds at the German Championship, held this week in Wuppertal, it became the new record for him. In the finals, Hajder improved the time at 1:46.17, and he swam in the qualifications.
‘’The new time in the 200 freestyle is now 1:45.42. Paul Biedermann (already mentioned world champion in this discipline) swam at 1:44.17, so we currently are divided at only 1,3 seconds’’, said Hajder.
The B&H swimmer won third place with relay SG Essen in the open category in the 4x50m freestyle race, where he swam 22,1.
‘’This time, I had the best result of my career. The race, where I achieved the result of 200m freestyle (pool of 25 meters) at 1:46.17. This time I was 2,5 seconds faster that the previous state record of 1:48.67.
This time, Hajder is placed among the 20 best swimmers this year in Europe, and has 900 Fina points. Thus, he became the first B&H swimmer who entered this elite group.
