The winner of first BiH Jameson Empire Awards ”Done in 60 Seconds” competition is remake of ”Mad Max” by Esmir Prlja from Sarajevo.

Prlja will in London from 22 to 24 March, together with 20 other competitors, compete for prestigious Jameson Empire Awards “Done in 60 Seconds” 2013

Prlja said that concerning the fact that the budget was low, and there weren’t enough time, he decided to shoot an animated film, and the audience and jury loved it.

Out of five films that received the most votes ( ”Ameli” by Lana Mihailović, ”Mad Max” by Esmir Prlja, ”Fight Club” by Nihad Spahić, ”Paranormal Activity” by Ismar Vejzović and ”Don’t Be A  Menace” by Nedim Osmanović) the expert jury had to make a hard decision which one was the best since all were very good.

The name of the winner was announced last night at screening event in Art Cinema Kriterion.
