qatar airwaysEstablishment of direct flight Doha Sarajevo by the company Qatar Airways was postponed for the next year due to delay in delivery of the plane ordered for this route, confirmed the Sarajevo International Airport.

Although the opening of this flight was prolonged for 2017, Sarajevo Airport still does not have information on precise date of establishment of this flight.

On March 9 this year, Qatar Airways wished a welcome to the capital of BiH on their official Twitter profile, pointing out how Sarajevo joined their network. Flight Doha-Sarajevo is a result of cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH and Qatar.

Direct flight will open possibilities for fast arrival to BiH for potential Qatari investors, wealthy businessmen and tourists who want to reach their destination in a simple way.

The flight will facilitate trips to Qatar, and after direct flights for Zagreb and Belgrade, this will be the third route that connects Qatar with the Balkan countries.
