Izetbegović hosted the Delegation of Jewish Municipality Sarajevo

jevrejska opcinaChairman of the Presidency of BiH Bakir Izetbegović hosted the delegation of the Jewish Community Sarajevo.

President of the municipality Boris Kožemjakin thanked the Chairman Izetbegović for the reception and material support that he provided for the newspaper of the Jewish Municipality Sarajevo, “The Jewish Voice”.

Among other things, Kožemjakin informed Izetbegović about current problems in the work of the Jewish Municipality Sarajevo and activities in the field of culture, education and employment.

Chairman of the BiH Presidency Bakir Izetbegović pointed to the significant and positive role of the Jewish Municipality Sarajevo and the Jewish Community in BiH, expressing gratitude to the members of the delegation for the present they brought – a reprint of “Sarajevo Haggadah”, which represents a true gem in the rich heritage of nations in BiH.

The meeting was also attended by the Secretary General of the Jewish Municipality Sarajevo Elma Softić-Kaunitz and preacher Prof. David Kamhi, stated the Presidency of BiH.
