Bosna SemaBosna Sema educational institutions which have been operating in BiH since 1998 will donate its entire property, estimated to over 120 million BAM, to the Islamic Community in BiH, confirmed a source from the Islamic Community in BiH.

Several kindergartens, elementary and high schools operate within Bosna Sema educational institutions in Sarajevo (Ilidža and Vraca), Tuzla, Zenica and Bihać. Moreover, the International Burch University also operates within these educational institutions.

According to estimations made by the court expert, property of Bosna Sema in these four cities is worth over 120 million BAM.

In legal terms, owners of Bosna Sema, who are BiH citizens, will donate the entire property to the Waqf Directorate of the Islamic Community in BiH. With this act of donation, the property of Bosna Sema will then be owned and managed by the Islamic Community in BiH.

Final decision on the acceptance of the donation should be reached at the first next session of the Riyasat of Islamic Community in BiH.

Unofficially, Islamic Community in BiH is already going through the paperwork of Bosna Sema educational institutions.

Bosna Sema would be a separate waqf or donation within the Waqf Directorate and management of this waqf and other peculiarities will be explained in detail in the document of donation – vakufnama.

Bosna Sema educational institutions provide job for around 500 people and schools and university will continue working according to the current curriculums.
