As part of the EU-funded EU4AGRI-Recovery project, a new Public Call was launched on Monday, June 19, for potential grant beneficiaries for support measure to improve climate change resilience in primary agricultural production in Bosnia and Herzegovina, worth BAM 1 million.
The Public Call aims to strengthen resilience of businesses in the primary agricultural production sector by investing in tools and technologies that help improve climate change adjustment. Through this Public Call, the European Union will support agri-food businesses interested to make their business more climate change resilient, with the aim of achieving sustainable agriculture, controlled use of natural resources and the introduction of good practices.
Eligible applicants
The Public Call is open for crafts/independent entrepreneurs, agricultural cooperatives, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises actively engaged in primary agricultural production for not more than two years before the launch of this Public Call.
Under this Public Call, BAM 1 million is available, and funds for support per application may range from BAM 30,000 to BAM 300,000 (VAT excluded) and can only be used to finance eligible costs.
Project proposals with the necessary documentation must be submitted only through online platform https://javnipoziv.undp.ba from 23 June 2023 to 31 July 2023, by 15:00 hrs. Applications submitted through other channels (mail or email) will not be considered.
The first online info session will take place on Friday, 23 June at noon, on the Facebook page of the EU4AGRI project, and is intended for those working on the preparation of applications as well as potential beneficiaries.
Additionally, info sessions will be held in Mostar, Cazin, Banja Luka, Orašje, Tuzla, Bijeljina and Sarajevo. The exact date and time of these sessions will be announced later on the EU4AGRI project website (eu4agri.ba), as well as on the EU4AGRI project’s official Facebook profile.
Additional questions regarding this Call can be submitted via the question form on the website of the project javnipoziv.undp.ba from 23 June 2023 to 21 July 2023. Any questions received before or after this deadline will not be answered.

European Union Support to Covid-19 Recovery and Resilience of Agriculture and Rural Development in Bosnia and Herzegovina (EU4AGRI-Recovery) is a 2.5-year initiative (2021-2023) that aims to support Bosnia and Herzegovina in mitigating the economic effects generated by the COVID-19 pandemic unto the agri-food businesses and rural tourism operators and ensuring their business continuity.
The EU4AGRI Recovery project, valued at EUR 5 million, is funded by the European Union and jointly implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Czech Development Agency (CzDA). Project is complementary to EU4AGRI project (2020-2024).
