brisel ilustracija (1)The European Commission will host in Brussels a thematic plenary of the EU-BiH structured dialogue on justice. The meeting is scheduled for the afternoon of Friday 12 July.

This first thematic plenary meeting is the occasion to discuss the state of reforms pertaining to the state level judiciary. The main item on the agenda will be the draft Law on the Courts of BiH, and an update will also be requested on the state of the amendments to the Law on the HJPC.

In conclusion to the fourth plenary session of the dialogue in Brcko (8/9 April) the Commission committed to enhance the pace of the dialogue, with a view to advance the consultation process for the most relevant institutional, legislative and normative developments that are currently on the agenda of judiciary reform and are expected to further align the BiH system to the relevant European standards and EU acquis, announced the EU Delegation to BiH.
