The EUD/EUSR in Bosnia and Herzegovina welcomes yesterday’s inaugural session of the Federation House of Peoples as an important step in implementing the results of the October 2018 General Elections.
Delegates today took several important decisions for the lives of citizens, including the endorsement of the FBiH Budget, financial plans allowing the payment of pensions, as well as the enabling of financing for the City of Mostar in 2019.
We also welcome the selection of Delegates to the State House of Peoples. And we look forward to the appointment of the FBiH Presidency and the formation of the Entity Government without any further delays. The process of establishing authorities at all levels of government is a necessary condition for Bosnia and Herzegovina to move forward in the EU integration process.
