reciklazaToday, the utility company “Deponija” from Mostar has put into probation the machine for processing recycled garbage, which is produced from the Croatian company “Tehnix” and funded by the European Union through IPA funds in the amount of about 2.3 million euros.

It is a modern facility that performs the complete process of recycling waste in accordance with all the European standards. Director of “Deponija” Abdurahman Bećirević stated that this facility will improve environmental conditions in the Mostar area and will reduce the impact of hazardous substances on human health.

“All the waste materials from the area of Mostar, such as papers, bottles and metal will be brought here. The magnets of the facility will separate the waste materials by type, which will be then recycled and processed to be back on the market. This is the financial factor that will ensure the sustainability of the project” added Bećirević.
