EU Launches “A PLAN THAT GETS US MOVING” Campaign To Encourage Progress On The EU Path

The European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina today has launched the public information campaign “A Plan That Gets Us Moving” to clearly explain Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Reform Agenda and the EU Growth Plan, and what they mean for citizens, businesses, and the country’s future. The campaign highlights how reforms can bring real benefits to everyday life: better public services, more efficient institutions, new job opportunities, and a stronger, more dynamic economy. Citizens could see these improvements – but only if Bosnia and Herzegovina’s authorities take timely action to implement the reforms.

The EU Growth Plan for the Western Balkans sets out a roadmap to bring the region’s economies closer to the European Union and deliver tangible improvements in citizens’ daily lives. As part of this plan, Bosnia and Herzegovina’s authorities have adopted a Reform Agenda aligned with key priorities on the path to EU membership. Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Reform Agenda includes 113 concrete reform steps, supported by a total of up to €976,6 million in EU financial support to advance reforms and investments that strengthen the business environment and create new opportunities.

“The Reform Agenda offers Bosnia and Herzegovina a real opportunity to move closer to the European Union and to deliver visible improvements in people’s everyday lives. This campaign is about explaining clearly what is at stake – the benefits of reform as well as the opportunities which will be missed if there is no action. Plan koji nas pokreće sends a clear message: EU support is ready, the benefits are real, but progress depends on action now by Bosnia and Herzegovina’s authorities,” said Ambassador Luigi Soreca, Head of the EU Delegation and EU Special Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

By linking each reform step to tangible improvements citizens can see and feel, the campaign emphasises that timely and effective action by authorities is essential. It also invites citizens, businesses, and stakeholders to stay informed, follow progress, and understand how reforms can turn plans into real, visible results.
