Within the scope of the “Local Integrated Development (LID)” Project, which is primarily funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme in Bosnia and Herzegovina (UNDP), the “Public call for SMEs from Bosnia and Herzegovina for participation in the training for accessing financial resources through EU COSME programme” has been announced.

COSME is the EU programme for the Competitiveness of Enterprises and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). It runs from 2014 to 2020 with a planned budget of €2.3bn. Since February 2017, BiH SMEs are eligible to apply for the COSME funds and connect with potential partners from the EU.

The main goals of this public call are to strengthen capacities of BiH SMEs in the context of preparing applications for EU COSME programme, and to raise awareness on the importance of EU funds and EU development opportunities for the private sector development in BiH.

Within this public call, eligible applicants will be engaged in the 6-day specialist modular training COSME programme. Upon the completion of the training, 3 BiH SMEs will receive technical support to develop full project proposals and apply for funding though a relevant COSME Public Call.
