Price Levels recorded a decrease by 0,7 Percent in July

By divisions of COICOP classification in July 2018 compared to previous month, price levels recorded a decrease by 0,7%. Lower prices in divisions of Clothing and footwear, Food and non-alcoholic beverages, Housing, water, Electricity, gas and other fuels and Transport.

By divisions of COICOP classification, in July of 2018 as compared to the previous month, the price index decreased in divisions of Clothing and footwear by 6,0%r, Food and non-alcoholic beverages by 1,4%, Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels by 0,3%, Transport by 0,3%.

Higher prices in divisions of Recreation and culture, Health, Other goods and services, Furniture and household appliances, Communications

By divisions of COICOP classification in July 2018 compared to previous month, the price index increased in divisions of Recreation and culture by 1,9%, Health by 0,4% , Other goods and services by 0,3%, Furniture and household appliances by 0,1%, Communications by 0,1%.

On an annual level, on average, price levels increased by 1,8%. The price level in July 2018 as compared to the same month of the previous year increased by 1,8%.

The average increase of prices was recorded in divisions of Transport by 10,8%, Alcoholic beverages and tobacco by 5,5%, Health by 2,2%, Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels by 2,2%, Recreation and culture by 2,1%, Food and non-alcoholic beverages by 0,6%, Restaurants and hotels by 0,5%, Other goods and services by 0,1%.

The decrease of prices on average was recorded in divisions of Clothing and footwear by 9,6%, Furniture, and furnishing by 0,7%, Communications by 0,1% and Education by 0,1%.
