The European Parliament will hold a commemoration tomorrow to mark the 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide, with speeches from representatives of the European Commission, the European Council, the European Parliament and the political groups in the parliament.
The debate on the Resolution on Bosnia and Herzegovina is on the plenary agenda on Tuesday, with a vote on the document scheduled for Wednesday.
The resolution reaffirms strong support for the country’s European perspective, welcomes the decision to open accession negotiations, but expresses concern about the stalled reforms and secessionist rhetoric from Republika Srpska, describing it as a threat to stability and Bosnia and Herzegovina’s European path.
