denis“The EU Delegation/EUSR welcomes today’s confirmation by the BiH House of Representatives of Denis Zvizdic as Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers, following his nomination by the BiH Presidency earlier this week. The EU Delegation/EUSR equally welcomes the election of the Federation of BiH President Marinko Cavara and Vice-Presidents Melika Mahmutbegovic and Milan Dunovic.

It is now of the utmost importance that the process of formation of institutions at BiH and FBiH level is completed as soon as possible and the EU Delegation/EUSR urges the swift completion of remaining processes. New governments and institutions at competent levels are essential for getting on with pursuing the much needed reforms that would tackle the pressing needs and concerns of BiH citizens. Notably, new institutions will play a key role in formulating and implementing the reform agenda related to the new EU initiative.”
