EUFOR commandant Major General Dieter Heidecker and German Ambassador Ulrike Maria Knotz during Heidecker’s inaugural visit, exchanged information concerning the activity of their missions.
On that occasion, Heidecker talked about the efforts of the EUFOR to support Armed Forces of BiH in their training.
Heidecker said that his organization is determined to improve the progress in solving the issue of excess old munitions and weapons, which are currently deposited and kept throughout BiH, said EUFOR.
Knotz expressed her concern related to economic issues which are currently endangering BIH society, and she especially noted the lack of progress of BIH authority concerning the issues of establishing the infrastructure and market procedures before Croatian accession to the EU in July 2013.
