EUFOR Members practiced Helicopter Landing and rapid Deployment

EUFOR has organized another exercise involving the mission’s helicopters this weekend, adding that the Multinational Battalion members are continuing their intensive training, conducting increasingly complex exercises, adding that they are “mission ready.”

In coordination with the EUFOR Aviation Detachment, they practiced troop embarkation and disembarkation, landing zone security, and rapid deployment exercises.

Residents across Bosnia and Herzegovina can notice the increased helicopter activity, as flights are taking place across the country.

“As part of their preparations, they will train in different areas across Bosnia and Herzegovina to adapt to different terrains and operational scenarios,” EUFOR said.

As a reminder, EUFOR forces have increased their strength with forces from the Czech Republic, Italy, and Romania.

As announced, this is a preventive measure, following the increase in tensions in the country, due to the adoption of unconstitutional laws in the BiH entity of Republika Srpska.

EUFOR forces, located in 17 locations across BiH, aim to protect the population and provide support to state authorities.
