In a ceremony marked by dignity, respect and remembrance, a newly renovated monument dedicated to their memory was officially unveiled. The monument stands as a lasting symbol of gratitude for the commitment, professionalism and service of those who contributed to the mission and its efforts to build a safer and more secure environment.

Local civilian employees have always been an essential part of the mission. Through their dedication, expertise and unwavering support, they worked side by side with military personnel from numerous nations, helping to strengthen cooperation, foster understanding and support peace and stability throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As we honor their memory, we also recognize the lasting impact of their contributions and the legacy they leave behind. Their service, commitment and dedication will not be forgotten.

EUFOR remains committed to preserving their memory and expressing its deepest respect and gratitude to all local civilian employees who have contributed to the mission over the years.
