EUFOR to Strengthen Cooperation with the Armed Forces of BiH

Today in Sarajevo, Operational Commander Lieutenant General Ludovic Pinon de Quincy and COM EUFOR Major General Florin Marian Barbu met with the Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of BiH, Lieutenant General Gojko Knežević, Deputy Chief for Operations Major General Tomo Kolenda, and Deputy Chief for Resources Major General Mirsad Ahmić.

During the discussions, the Operational Commander expressed his gratitude to the leadership of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina for their significant support to EUFOR.

Furthermore, Lieutenant General Pinon de Quincy emphasized the strong cooperation between EUFOR and the Armed Forces of BiH, built on mutual trust and a shared commitment to peace and stability:

“I was pleased to see the results of our close partnership, reflected in joint training and shared values. Standing together, EUFOR and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina remain committed, alongside BiH authorities, to supporting and maintaining a safe and secure environment for all the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina.”
