Talks and negotiations on changes to the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina have been continuing since Friday in Neum.

A working dinner was underway yesterday evening with the participation of HDZ representatives led by Dragan Covic, SDA representatives Bakir Izetbegovic and Sefik Dzaferovic, American and European mediators Matthew Palmer and Angelina Eichhorst, Austrian diplomat Johann Sattler and OSCE representatives.

In addition to them, the president of SBB, Fahrudin Radoncic and Denis Zvizdic arrived on behalf of the People and Justice party.

Representatives of at least two opposition parties from the Federation of BiH declined an invitation to Neum.

The SDP BiH explained this decision by demanding that the work of the state authorities unblocked by Republika Srpska officials be unblocked before the election reform, while representatives of Naša stranka said they did not want to participate in talks that ignored their proposals to change election rules. civil states.

In the next few days, we will find out whether the city in the south of the country brings a warm political climate and change, a new agreement or dissatisfaction and blockades.

Although the venue of the negotiations is being questioned, the final confirmation of the agreement, if any, must follow in the BiH Parliament.
