EUFOR warns that there will be more of their Vehicles on the Streets throughout BiH

EUFOR sent a statement regarding the more intensive movement of their vehicles in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and at the same time they informed why this would happen.

Namely, the reason for which there will be a slightly more intense movement of EUFOR vehicles is the return of Romanian forces from Bosnia and Herzegovina to Romania.

“In the coming days, citizens may notice more intensive movement of EUFOR vehicles on the roads throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina. These activities are connected with the return of Romanian reserve forces within EUFOR from Bosnia and Herzegovina to Romania. Deployment of parts of EUFOR reserve forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina is done regularly for training purposes (for example for our annual Quick Response exercise),” EUFOR said.

They also added that this reserve force rotation system further strengthens the efforts of EUFOR in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“With this system of rotation of reserve forces, EUFOR’s efforts to provide support to the authorities of BiH in maintaining a safe and stable environment, as well as combined training with the Armed Forces of BiH, are additionally strengthened,” EUFOR concluded.
