On Friday 21 June, Major General Dorfer met with the BiH Minister of Defence Marina Pendes at the Ministry of Defense building in Sarajevo. MG Dorfer thanked her for the trust she had placed in him and also the spirit of co-operation in which they had worked together.
Marina Pendes thanked MG Dorfer for the support on projects that EUFOR and the AFBiH had worked on together such as; removal of surplus ammunition and explosives and the marking and registration of weapons. She also paid tribute to the valuable contribution made by EUFOR’s LOT houses.
After his visit with the Minister of Defence, MG Dorfer met with the BiH Chief of Joint Staff Lieutenant General Senad Mašović and his deputy Major General Gojko Knežević. MG Dorfer wished them both well for the future and also thanked them for their engagement and co-operation with EUFOR during his tenure.
