The mandate of the EU Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) has been extended until 14 June 2027, the EU Council decided today in Luxembourg.
The decision will enter into force upon its adoption.
The EULEX mission in Kosovo was established on 4 February 2008.
EULEX members arrived in Kosovo on 17 February 2008, following the declaration of independence of Kosovo.
