Bosnia and Herzegovina has made impressive steps forward towards the European Union, and the positive dynamics on the reform path should be continued, the European Commission said.

They reminded that last week it was recommended to the European Council to open negotiations on EU accession, stressing that the future of Bosnia and Herzegovina is in the European bloc.

In her address to the European Parliament, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, said that in the last year BiH has made the greatest progress during the previous 10 years when it comes to the European path.

She listed numerous steps that BiH has completed on the way to the EU, including the adoption of the agreement with Frontex, the Law on Prevention of Conflict of Interest and the Law on Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism.
