101203After the great initiative of the Mayor of Sarajevo Ivo Komšić, the Sarajevo City Hall will finally join the great family of museums, and open its door for all citizens and tourists in the evening for free. The significant event – European Night of Museums – will for the first time be organized in the City Hall.

The Night of Museums is implemented in collaboration with the Public Institution Museums of Sarajevo, which will only for this occasion set up the exhibition “Watercolors of Old Sarajevo”.

The visitors can see the City Hall Exhibition “Sarajevo 1914-2014”, which was also implemented by the Museum of Sarajevo to mark the centenary of the Sarajevo assassination.

On Saturday at 10 pm visitors will also be able to enjoy the beautiful interior of the City Hall, which, although is not a museum institution, it has a museum space and organizes exhibitions. The City Hall itself is also a unique object of cultural heritage and an attractive destination in Sarajevo.
