The first solar power plant in Žepče opened

13220144_247701675590154_1610511521_nThe first solar power station in Žepce, in local community of Radunice, was officially opened. The power plant is owned by the company “Praha.” The owner and director of “Praha”, Rajko Djuričić moved to Prague with his wife Ljiljana during the war and started a business there. After more than twenty years he decided to invest in BiH and Žepče.

The people who attended the opening ceremony were Petr Kašička, head of trading at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in BiH, Josip Martić, Federal Minister of Physical Planning, Zvonimir Andjelić, Minister of Economy of ZDK, the municipality mayor Mato Zovko, as well as representatives of municipal services, public companies and development agencies in Žepče, Procredit Bank, and a number of associates and friends.

The solar power plant “Praha” started working on 1st of April 2016, and the value of this investment is 250,000 Euros. It was previously put into trial on December 23rd 2015. The power of this solar plant is 150 kilowatts per hour of electricity production, and annual production is planned to be approximately 183,000 KW / h.

The ribbon was cut by the Head of the Department of Commerce at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bosnia and Herzegovina Petr Kašička, director of the company Praha Ltd, Rajko Djuričić and mayor of Žepče Mato Zovko.
