Attractive investment locations, an efficient municipal system that facilitates the investment and business process, and incentives that stimulate investors are just some of the reasons why investors choose Bosanska Krupa.

The fact that one of the companies in the business zone ‘Pilana’ opened its doors during the pandemic, and since then it has only recorded successes, testifies to how desirable this municipality is as a business option.

”During the story about the pandemic, we started the business with one employee, and today, a year and a half later, we have ten of them, ” stated Anel Pecanin, owner of the company AP Studio Design.

The company, which employs 112 people, is also operating successfully here and plans to increase this number in the future.

”We are in the phase of opening two new plants, laser cutting and powder coating. Currently, in this zone, we have over 15 legal entities that are all very successful and all export. This is a good example that everything is possible, ” Iris Bahtijaragic, director of the company ZAH d.o.o. pointed out for RTV USK.

Increased number of employees

Armin Halitovic, the mayor of Bosanska Krupa, confirmed that the positive processes are still active.

”In Bosanska Krupa we have a large number of production facilities. The real sector is in progress here, as evidenced by the fact that we now have more employees than we had before the pandemic, ” Halitovic told.

Support of ministries

Support and ‘wind at the back’ for entrepreneurs in Bosanska Krupa was also provided by the visit of a delegation of the Una-Sana Canton (USC) Government led by the Minister of Economy, Samra Mehic. This ministry has previously recognized the potential of entrepreneurship in Krupa through various projects and incentives.

As Minister Mehic told RTV USK, the development of entrepreneurship was the key motive for allocating 80.000 BAMto this local self-government.

These funds will be invested in the final infrastructural works in the new Business Zone ‘Vatreni Mlin’, which the municipal authorities hope will be ready in the spring, since the remaining zones are almost full, and they say there is a lot of interest.
