Everything Ready for Tomorrow’s Unforgettable Sevdah Evening in Ilidža

halkaThe long awaited premier concert of ensemble “Halka” will be held on Saturday evening at the Summer Stage Ilidža.

The brilliant team of musicians – Dino Šukalo, Adis Sirbubalo, Edvin Hadžić and Anes Beglerbegović, along with singer Božo Vrećo will present a joint project of “Halka” and the album was produced by “Gramafon” . The album is for all lovers of Sevdah music and music in general, was announced by “Gramafon”.

After a two-day probation in Sarajevo there was created ​​a repertoire with eight songs from the album and some of the finest examples of B&H traditional music, such as Sevdah song “Ah, ljubav, ljubav” of Selver Pasić, “Žita zlatom klasaju“ and the song “Negdje u daljini” of Goraždanin Rade Jovanović, whose songs “Malenin sokakom” and “Jablani se povijaju” are in the album of “Halka”.

Besides those songs, Halka and will perform even “Kiša bi pala” “Da sam sjajna mjesečina“, “Razbolje se šimšir list” and many other songs from famous and unknown authors, but for sure Sevdah songs that mark childhood and youth period of many generations.

Ticket price for the concert is 5 KM.
