Ex-deputy director of Mossad, Ram Ben Barak said that each of the world’s 100 countries should accept 20,000 refugees from Gaza, adding that being a refugee in Canada is better than living in Gaza.
Israeli politician and ex-deputy director of Mossad Ram Ben Barak has sparked controversy after proposing a global resettlement of the entire population of Gaza.
”If each country takes in 20,000 individuals, that would involve100 countries. Considering that they are refugees. It is better to be a refugee in Canada than in Gaza,” said Barak.
Palestinians have characterized proposals to relocate the population from Gaza, including Israeli proposals to resettle them in Egypt’s Sinai desert, as a policy of ethnic cleansing, Klix.ba reports.
