As a part of 680th anniversary of signing of Charter of Bosnian ban Stephen II Kotromanić in the Old Town of Srebrenik, an exhibition of cultural and historic treasures of Srebrenik has been opened in Dom Culture (House of Culture) in Srebrenik.

Numerous old appliances, objects, several hundred-year old tools and weapons, different medallions and very rich numismatic collection were exhibited.

Among the objects there is also a Turkish sabre with filigree silver lettering forged in 1803; Austro-Hungarian pistol, 100 year old Loginess watch, handwritten Qur’an from 17th century and others.

Also, several Venetian and Ottoman coins were exhibited as well as unidentified artefacts of Celtic origin.

The exhibition is a result of a long and patient collecting of these artifices, which were, in past times used as common objects in everyday use, and the goal of the exhibition is to keep those objects from oblivion.
