Šemsa Alimanović, the advisor in the FBiH Chamber of Commerce, said that furniture production in 2012 was 36 percent higher than in 2011.
‘’It is important to note that 2011 was a successful year regarding furniture export, so that the six percent more has a huge financial importance. Our products are sought after in Europe and throughout the world, and this was demonstrated by the opportunity to represent our companies at furniture fairs in Cologne. Our companies’ booths were one of the most visited and we were able to secure new jobs’’, said Alimanović.
According to her, for the results to be better and more competitive products, there would have to be a greater involvement from the executive and legislative authorities.
