Hasanaginica Exhibition source.baExhibition “Hasanaginica in Paintings” by the B&H artist Adis Lukač was opened last night at the foyer of the National Theatre Sarajevo.

Thirteen paintings are displayed, and they will be on display in that space for the next 20 days.

The author highlighted that all works are connected with the topic of “Hasanaginica”, but that every painting is a story for itself.

“Works are made in red ocher, representing dried blood which is actually a symbol of chastity, injustice, which is unfortunately present today as well,” Lukač said at the opening of the exhibition.

Lukač pointed out that what makes “Hasanaginica” great is the fact that it is translated to many world languages, that it is being studied at numerous institutes, but primarily the fact that it is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian piece.

The exhibition of paintings is set on the occasion of the performance of the play “Hasanaginica” at the National Theatre Sarajevo.
