Exhibition: ‘Osam i Tredeset’

osam_i_trideset”I can hardly wait, I cannot wait any longer” would probably be the most appropriate way to announced the first solo exhibition of one of the favorite illustrators of the region Marko Prokić, alias f.ckinfine.

At the invite of Ena Bojičić, Director of Showroom Deseen, this original, now a sort of ‘feel good brand’ will present its works to the public in Sarajevo in a unique setting of this recently opened space.

His works, messages that Prokić illustrates are, according to him, ”survivors and those who endured.    It just seems to be one of the key elements in an almost unbearable lightness of identification with the morning’s petulance, explicit or implicit melancholy, feelings of absence, boredom or painful awareness of the everyday routine. Those are short, but substantive, general but specific, funny, yet sad heart of emotional and rational impulses of each of us”.

Today’s modern communication channels of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are overwhelmed by messages like: ”I am embarrassed how much I need you’, ”One time I really wanted to say I love you, but a nice day arrived”, ”darkness lit the imagination”, etc.
