Exhumation Process completed in Hadzici

By order of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the exhumation process was completed at the Drozgometva site in the Hadzici municipality, during which incomplete remains of one person were found.

The Prosecutor's Office of BiH states that the exhumation was carried out after the remains were noticed in the settlement, during the excavation of the local road, after which the location was secured until the beginning of the exhumation.

The found remains will be transferred to the Miljevići City Cemetery in East Sarajevo, where forensic medical processing will be performed, ie determining the cause of death and taking bone samples in order to determine the identity of the victim by DNA analysis.

Field activities were supervised and coordinated by an investigator from the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, and representatives of the BiH Institute for Missing Persons, the Republika Srpska Institute of Forensic Medicine, the International Commission for the Search for Missing Persons (ICMP) and forensic experts participated in the exhumation. profession, police officers of the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton.
