vladaTwo and a half months passed after the street demonstrations in which Sodaso building was burned and which was the symbol of a workers Tuzla and in which the government of Tuzla canton was seated. Accordingly the expert team will assess the damage until 15 May.

The director of the Cantonal headquarters of the Civil protection, Zdenko Tadić, said that they are not late with the formation of the expert team, but that due to the undefined ownership rights, they were not in hurry as well. Namely, one part of the building is in the ownership of the government of Tuzla Canton, and two thirds are the subject of litigation between Solana d.d. and the government of Tuzla Canton.

“We will use all the mechanisms of the law on the protection and prevention of accidents. The expert team is made out of the court appointed experts, the representative from the ministry, representatives of Solana and so on”, says Zdenko Tadić.

Preliminary results say that the damage done on the inventory is around 100 and 100 thousand.  The electric installations are damaged completely and a great amount of mechanical installations are damaged as well. Thanks to the agility of fire workers, the further damaging of the building was stopped, however the damage on Sodaso building will be greater than one million KM.

According to Tadić, the KSCZ of Tuzla Canton has 3 million BAM, but that amount of money cannot be spent on the sanitation of damage done on the object of Sodaso and Municipality of Tuzla. On the account of the Federal administration of Civil Protection, there are approximately 20 million BAM for these purposes.
