Retail prices of petroleum products at gas stations in the Federation of BiH continued to rise during the first half of September, with both diesel and gasoline recording significant price increases compared to the beginning of the month.
According to data from the Federal Ministry of Trade, the average price of a liter of diesel fuel currently stands at 3.58 BAM, representing an increase of 15 pfennigs compared to September 1, when the average price was 3.43 BAM per liter.
Gasoline prices also rose during the same period. The average price of a liter of Super 95 gasoline reached 3.23 BAM, an increase of 17 pfennigs compared to September 1.
The continued rise in retail fuel prices at gas stations in the Federation of BiH is driven by price trends for petroleum products on the global market and the adjustment of procurement costs by distributors.
