Export from BiH increased in the period January-July 2018

In the period January-July 2018 export amounted to 6 billion 911 million BAM, which is 11,8% higher than in the same period of 2017, and import amounted to 11 billion 95 million BAM, which is 9,1% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 62,3% and foreign trade in goods deficit amounted to 4 billion 184 million BAM.

Export to CEFTA countries amounted to 1 billion 79 million BAM, which is 10% higher than in the same period of 2017, while import amounted to 1 billion 307 million BAM, which is 3,8% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 82,5%.

Export to EU countries amounted to 5 billion 67 million BAM, which is 13,3% higher than in the same period of 2017, while import amounted to 6 billion 645 million BAM, which is 7,2% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 76,3%.
