Export from BiH recorded Increase by over 25 Percent in the First Four Months

In the period January-April 2021, export amounted to 4 billion 178 million BAM, which is 25,7% higher than in the same period of 2020, and import amounted to 6 billion 100 million BAM, which is 12,5% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 68,5% and international trade in goods deficit amounted to 1 billion 923 million BAM, according to the data provided by BiH Agency for Statistics.

Export to CEFTA countries amounted to 662 million BAM, which is 27,5% higher than in the same period of 2020, while import amounted to 761 million BAM, which is 15,1% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 87%. 

Export to EU countries amounted to 3 billion 103 million BAM, which is 27,4% higher than in the same period of 2020, while import amounted to 3 billion 713 million BAM, which is 12,9% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 83,6%.
