Revenues from Indirect Taxes higher for More than 900 Million BAM

Revenues from indirect taxes in the period January – July 2022 amounted to 5 billion and 530 million convertible marks (BAM) and are higher by 935 million BAM or 20.35 percent compared to the same period in 2021 when they amounted to 4 billion and 595 million BAM.

The Administration for Indirect Taxation (ITA) of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced that in the period January – July 2022, they returned 1 billion and 180 million BAM to the economy, which is 344 million BAM more compared to the same period last year.

“The net collected revenues that were distributed to beneficiaries in the period January – July 2022, namely the state, the entities and the Brcko District, amounted to 4 billion and 350 million BAM and are higher by 591 million BAM compared to the revenues that were users received from the Single Account for the same period in 2021,” the announcement states.

In July 2022, 827 million BAM indirect taxes were collected, which is 87 million BAM more than in July 2021.

“An amount of 496 million BAM was allocated for the financing of state institutions in the period January – July 2022. The excess income ended up with the entities and Brcko District. 2 billion 371 million BAM were allocated to the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 1 billion and 311 million BAM to the Republika Srpska and 133 million BAM to the Brcko district”, it was pointed out from the ITA of BiH.
