electricityFor four months in this year, BiH has exported electricity worth around 206,5 million KM, which has already surpassed the full export for 2012, which amounted to 150,1 million KM, according to research from Indikator.ba.

The extremely good hydrological conditions, and the fact that overhauls in certain power plants have been carried out in earlier years, favored the production of electricity.

Good results were achieved especially in April when the BiH export of electricity amounted to around 67,3 million KM.

Elektroprivreda HZHB, which produces electricity exclusively from hydropower plants, reported in late April that it has already met the annual plan of production for 2013, which resulted in a profit of 63,5 million KM.

At the same time, BiH imports of electricity has almost halved in the first four months of 2012, which amounted to 35,7 million KM in relation to 69,5 million in the same period of the previous year.
