Exports of the RS increased by 13 % in Four Months?

The RS achieved exports in the amount of 1,184 billion BAM in four months of this year, which is by 13 % more than in the same period last year, according to the data of the Institute of Statistics of the RS.

The value of imports in the last four months amounted to 1,577 billion BAM, which is an increase of 8.5 % in comparison to the same period last year, while the export-import coverage was 75.1 %.

When we take a look at groups of product, the largest share of export in the value of 104 million BAM in four months of this year was realized in the field of electrical energy.

On the other hand, the largest share of imports, with the value of 161 million BAM, was realized in the sector of oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals – raw.

The RS achieved the largest export value of around 173 million BAM with Italy, while the largest amount of products, with the value of more than 263 million BAM, was imported from Serbia.

The export value in the business operations with the EU in four months of this year was increased by 13.5 %, while imports were increased by 7.1 % in comparison to the same period last year.
