The exhibition “3650 Days of Contemporary Architecture in Sarajevo” took place in the Ars Aevi Museum in Sarajevo for the opening of the event “Days of Architecture 2018”, and it represents results of all the efforts and hard work invested in this event that will be held for the eleventh consecutive time this year.
“We are all working voluntarily and we are very satisfied to be able to say that the event ‘Days of Architecture’ will be held again next year.” We have the good will and adrenaline to say that this event will be even better next year,” stated Mehic.
The event “Days of Architecture” is aimed at gathering important names from the field of architecture, who would help in solving different problems that local experts are facing with, with their ways of working and experience.
The program of the event “Days of Architecture 2018” includes lectures by prominent architects from both BiH and abroad. A visit to a bob trail on Trebevic Mountain is also planned, and it will also be an opportunity for a cable car ride. The festival will be taking place until May 27.
Topic of this year’s event “Days of Architecture” is “Space of Freedom”, and according to the organizers of “Days of Architecture”, they managed to become one of the most important events for contemporary architecture in BiH from a simple student project.
