The Security Council of the United Nations (UN) unanimously adopted the Russian draft of the resolution on B&H by which the mandate of EUFOR is extended for one year.
During the voting, all members of the Security Council supported the draft resolution on extending of the mandate of EUFOR.
Moreover, the before mentioned resolution by which the mandate of EUFOR is extended until November 2016, is the result of compromise between the EU and Russia.
Last year, Russia was the only country abstained from voting because the draft of the resolution stated that the Security Council is supporting B&H’s path towards the EU.
