The higher education institution International Burch University in Sarajevo organizes a Fair of Scientific Projects for high school students from the entire Bosnia and Herzegovina called “Burch Olympics 2015“.
“Burch Olympics 2015“ is a unique project in Bosnia and Herzegovina which aims to bring together high school students and encourage them to find innovative solutions for the benefit of society. The competition represents a contribution of Burch University in encouraging young people to freely express their ideas, and best students will be adequately awarded.
The goal of this year’s fair is to encourage young people to think about problems in their microenvironment . and by using available resources, to offer ideas and solutions from their own perspective. High school students across the country, together with their teachers can present original projects in one of four categories:
- Engineering,
- Web design
- Environment and
- I have an Idea.
This year, we have a special category – short video.
Competition will be held on 10th and 11th April 2015 in premises of the International Burch University on Ilidza. The best projects in all five categories will receive valuable prizes:
1st Place: Gold Medal
Student: 600 BAM and scholarships at the desired program of study on International Burch University in the amount of 7000 BAM
Award for mentors Project: 400 BAM
2nd Place: Silver medal
Student: 400 BAM and scholarship at the desired program of study on the International Burch University in the amount of 4.900 BAM
Award for mentors Project: 300 BAM
3rd Place: Bronze medal
Student: 200 BAM and scholarships at the desired program of study on International Burch University in the amount of 3.500 BAM
Award for mentors Project: 200 BAM
