Families of Israeli prisoners in Gaza gathered at a protest in Tel Aviv calling on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to resign.

Israel continues its fierce air and artillery attacks on Gaza, deepening the humanitarian crisis in the blockaded Palestinian strip where Hamas fighters are holding several prisoners from Israel.

Israeli media reports that hundreds of Israelis gathered at a protest in front of the Ministry of Defense in the capital, Tel Aviv.

Relatives of Israeli prisoners in Gaza gathered at the rally to send them a message of support, and the rally turned into a protest against Prime Minister Netanyahu.

“Netanyahu should go to jail” and “Netanyahu, resign”, were some of the slogans chanted by the crowd.

Banners with the inscriptions “Netanyahu, your hands are stained with blood”, “We are left alone”, “Return the prisoners now” and “No trust, resign” also attracted attention at the demonstrations, AA reports.
