Famous Actor Ben Affleck paid Tribute to Srebrenica

ben-affleckMayor of the Municipality of Srebrenica, Camil Durakovic, participated in the work of “Clinton Foundation” in New York, where one of the topics was the genocide in Srebrenica.

Durakovic was one of the participants in the panel on the topic of “Reconciliation and life together” as a survivor of the genocide.

On panels, among others, participated the Premier Minister of Italy Matteo Renzi, the President of Argentine Mauricio Macri, Mayor of London Sadiq Khan, Prime Minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, singer Bono Vox and actor Ben Affleck, said Durakovic.

Durakovic posted a photo with Ben Affleck who was wearing the flower of Srebrenica on his lapel.

“It means a lot to us when this great man, Ben Affleck, says that he will proudly wear the flower of Srebrenica…” wrote Durakovic on his Facebook page.

Mayor of the Municipality of Srebrenica received a call from the former US President Bill Clinton.
