Farmers from BiH managed to reach an Agreement with the City Authorities

Today, farmers from the Zivinice area managed to reach an agreement with the city authorities on how to distribute the funds provided for spring sowing.

Milk producers were granted 160 thousand convertible marks (BAM) of incentives, which is an increase compared to the original plan by 50 thousand BAM. The method of distribution of funds has also been changed. Instead of a maximum of 1,500 BAM per producer, 150 BAM per head of livestock was approved, which is the calculation they demanded.

Representatives of the city authorities reached an agreement with the farmers after some negotiations and other protests in two weeks.

Farmers have previously announced that they will not give up on the demands they have, and today they brought certain quantities of milk in front of the City Administration building, which they distributed to citizens to warn what will happen if they are not helped properly.

Earlier, reductions in livestock were announced, as well as the closure of farms.
