Farmers to hold Protests and close Two Border Crossings Today

Farmers from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina will hold protests today at the customs terminals Gradiska and Raca near Bijeljina. It is planned to completely block both terminals, and to send requests to the competent state institutions related to the protection of domestic production.

In this way, as stated in the announcement of the protest, farmers want to express dissatisfaction with the excessive import of agri-food products to Bosnia and Herzegovina and the work of the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Stasa Kosarac.

The gathering of farmers at the customs terminals was announced at 11 o’clock.
