The lowest Pension in the Republika Srpska is 300 BAM

Insured persons who have completed 15 years of service in the Republika Srpska since January of this year receive a pension in the amount of 300.6 BAM, while the amount of the highest pension is as much as 3,228.6 marks.

On the other hand, in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the amount of the lowest pension, which includes pensioners with 15 years of service, is 565.18 BAM since the beginning of this year, and the highest pension is 2,800 BAM.

The data also show that the amount of the highest pension in the Republika Srpska is as much as 428.64 marks higher than the amount of the highest pension in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In contrast to the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the lowest pension in the RS is determined in five levels, depending on the length of the insured’s pensionable service. Insured persons who have completed their working life with 15 to 20 years of service as of January this year have a pension of 360 BAM, while for 20 to 30 years of service the lowest pension is 420.90 BAM.

Those whose work experience is between 30 and 40 years now receive 481 BAM, and all those who had a full work experience with an increase since the beginning of this year receive a minimum amount of 601.35 marks, writes Večernji list BiH.
