Faruk Hadzibegic is no longer the Head Coach of BiH National Football Team

The head coach of the BiH national football team, Faruk Hadžibegić, terminated cooperation with the BiH Football Association after three consecutive defeats against Slovakia, Portugal and Luxembourg.

On Thursday, Hadžibegić talked with the leaders of Football Association and that it was agreed that Hadžibegić and NSBiH should terminate the cooperation.

That decision will have to be confirmed by the Executive Board of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina at a session that will be held in the first days of July.

This time, Hadžibegić had a record short term as the coach of the BiH national football team, as he was appointed to that position only in January of this year.

Previously, he was a coach in 1999, but even then he did not achieve special success because he was in that position for less than eight months and recorded only two victories in the seven games he led.
