FB&H House of Peoples Gave Consent for Loans to B&H Elektroprivreda

hidroelektrane(1)The FB&H House of Peoples gave its consent yesterday for the borrowing of B&H Elektroprivreda with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in the amount of 35 million Euros for the realization of the project of the construction of hydro power plant ‘Vranduk’ and the rehabilitation and expansion of ‘Una Kostela’. EBRD approved a loan on favorable terms after all the necessary economic, technical and environmental conditions were met.

Of the amount approved for the construction of ‘Vranduk’, the planned funding is 26 million Euros, while for ‘Una Kostela’ nine million Euros is expected.

This approval was given by the FB&H House of Representatives on 24 September 2013. The total power of ‘Vranduk’ will be 19,63 MW while the expected annual production of energy is 96,38 GWh.

After both houses of Parliament gave their approval, B&H Elektroprivreda will attend the signing of the contract.
